RAINE REFLECTIONS

Heavy Out

There's not much for me to say
And there's even less that I can do
I can't heal those self-inflicted wounds
Or unbind the chains of being you

But I'm here beside you, baby
And I'll walk along with you
No, I don't have the healer's touch
But I'm here to get you through

So each breath is a heavy in
And then there's that heavy out
Just a repetition and a rhythm
For when you're feeling hollowed out

I know you can't believe in nothing,
But you can put your faith in me
I won't tell you that it's all easy
There ain't no cure for misery

I'm here beside you, baby
And I'll try and see you through
I don't have much to offer,
But I'm always here for you

And each breath is a heavy in
Then there's that heavy out
Feel the wind of life within you
The succour from pain and doubt
