RAINE REFLECTIONS

Chill

I’ll dangle these bones

in graveyard moss
accompanied
by wind chimes
of empty rum bottles
unread poems
and raven’s caws
until then
as the moon wanes
a diminishing smile
I’ll write upon
these autumn leaves
waiting for winter’s chill
to come along
