Purple Ocean

If we were to be, somewhere
where we could suppose,
some other place
To sit among desires
that were dreamt,
and not misplaced

To bathe,
in orange moonlight,
beside a purple ocean scape
To know our own desires
and each other’s
in embrace

In this love,
a deeper being
than any I could state
In warm eyes,
that always smile,
with tenderness and grace

To suppose,
some other somewhere,
in the sands our fingers traced
Our breathless names
beside this ocean,
this eternal sacred space
